Kefalotomy 7″ vinyl

We were assigned to design the new single release for the music band EREVOLT. Their new song, called Kefalotomy, is a Greek word play deriving from lobotomy. The narrative focuses on the supression caused from the social, political and educational circumstances that define our world. We can either conform or react, creating two states for the human existence: the lobotomized and the distorted.

For the packaging we created a folder showcasing the two formentioned human states. The default cover illustrates a sectioned head with the song title as the brain, while the interior folds that hold the vinyl in the pack, create another cover with the distorted state. On the vinyl a buddha with 3 eyes represents the enlightment.
